types of filters
Particulate filters
Particulate compressed air filters are used to remove dust and particles from the air.
Activated carbon filters
filters utilize a composite carbon material to remove gases and odors from the air.
Coalescing filters
High oil compressed air coalescing filters remove water and oil aerosols by coalescing the aerosols into droplets
Compressed intake filters
Intake filters are the first line of defense in filtering. These filters can remove contaminates down to 0.3 µm and can remove chemical contaminants.
TECHNICAL AND MEDICAL GASES
Compressed air for utilisation as breathing air in the medical technology sector is subject to special requirements. A reliable provision of human beings with breathing air entails a high level of responsibility. Compressed air as breathing air for patients is defined in the updated European Pharmacopoeia.
For the sensitive application of breathing air purification in the medio-technical field, Parker Zander commissioned an independent institute with tests of the breathing air purification unit in terms of regard to compliance with the maximum allowable concentrations and stability of oxygen concentration. With the validation certificate Parker Zander confirms compliance with the stipulated maximum allowable concentrationion.

MEDICAL GAS MANIFOLDS
Perfect function, simple control
Gas manifolds are designed to supply the pipeline system with sufficient quantity of gas by cylinders and/or tanks. The typical manifold for medical gases (oxygen, nitrogen, CO2 or medical air) according to EN ISO 7396-1 or HTM 02-01 usually consists of a two-sided cylinder supply with automatic changeover between the empty and full side, and an additional third source for emergency supply. For oxygen, the liquid source is usually used as the primary supply, while the two-side cylinder supply is used for reserve. The design of Medicop manifolds enables highly reliable functioning and offers a number of advantages for the user; for example:
Multifunction
We have models available for the whole range of users, from small clinics with one terminal unit for gas, up to the biggest health-care institutions with thousands of terminal units.
Integrated digital display
All information about manifold status (pressure level of each source, line pressure level) and warnings are monitored on one display, which also supports forwarding of collected information for central supervision of medical gas supply.
Eesy handling
The special conical shape of cylinder connection and handle fixed on all connecting points allows all empty cylinders to be changed without tools.
Easy maintenance
Filters and other disposable components are easily accessible, so regular service can be carried out in a very short time.
Universal compatibility
Valves for cylinder connections are available in all standards for high-pressure equipment in use around the world.
Uninterrupted flow
Double line-pressure regulators and NIST inlets make it possible for pipelines to be supplied with the required quantity of gas even during maintenance or service of any component of a manifold.
Safety by design
Special safety valves are installed for each source of high pressure, as well as a separate safety valve for line pressure.
